Day Wise Plan

DAY 01 – ARRIVLA IN CHENNAI

Upon arrival check you will be meet and assisted by our representative and transfer to your hotel.

Overnight Hotel- Chennai.

DAY 02 – CHENNAI- KOZHIKODE ( CALICUT)

Post breakfast transfer to airport to board the flight for Calicut. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening free to relax.

DAY 03   CALICUT- WAYANAD

After breakfast proceed to Vythiri. Vythiri is located in the Wayanad district in North Kerala, India. Waynad is rich in coffee and spice plantations. Wayanad is steeped in history and traditions which historians claim date as far back as 10 centuries before Christ. They refer to the Edakkal caves as evidence where ancient carvings have been traced to a highly civilized people from the pre-historic stone ages. Wayanad is also home to proud indigenous tribesmen. Numerous tribal communities co-exist with a well-settled planter population. Arrive and check in at the resort. Evening tea plantation visit.

DAY 04   WAYANAD

Morning after breakfast go on eco stream trekking till lunch. Return back to the hotel and afternoon free for independent activities.

DAY 05   WAYANAD – COORG

Morning proceed to Coorg, check into the resort which is surrounded by a three hundred-acre coffee plantation and bordered by mountain forests and the Cauvery River, the grounds to this hotel have the feel of an English country garden. Freshen up and proceed for activities which include guided walks in the hills, fishing in the streams and mountain biking through the forests. Day free for independent explorations.

DAY 06   COORG – SPICE TOUR

Morning after breakfast leave for a guided tour of the nearby spice plantation. Evening free time for personal activities.

DAY 07   COORG – MYSORE (135 KMS)

Morning check out from the resort and drive to Mysore. Afternoon visit Brindhavan Gardens and Mysore Palace.

Mysore Palace :The Maharaja’s Palace is one of the important sights in Mysore. Built in Indo-Saracenic style with domes, turrets, arches and colonnades,the Palace is a treasure house of exquisite carvings and works of art from all over the world. Intricately carved doors open on to luxuriously furnished rooms. The majestic Durbar Hall has an ornate ceiling and many sculpted pillars. The magnificent jewel studded golden throne of the Wodeyars is displayed here during the Dasera festival. Illuminated on Sundays and public holidays ,the palace presents a spectacle of breathtaking beauty

DAY 08 – MYSORE – HALEBID & BELUR – HASSAN (125 KMS)

Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Hassan. Arrive and check in at hotel.  Later visit to the famous Hoysala Temples of “Belur & Halebid”. The 12th century temples of Belur and Halebid stands the most beautiful for its most beautiful sculptures when compared to any other temples in south India. Typically these temples are squat & star shaped. Its outstanding sculptures all over the walls and pillars states the stories from the old epics of Ramayana, Mahabharatha & Bhagavath Geetha enabling to know of Hindu culture. It also describes the story of the rulers of Karnataka and their interest in dance and music.
Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

DAY 09 – HASSAN – BANGALORE VIA SRAVANBELGOLA (194 KMS)

Mornig after breakfast drive down to Banglore . Enroute visit – Saravanabelagola, the famous Jain pilgrim center & one of the oldest in India. The place is known as one of the greatest monuments of Jain art. The collosul statue of Gomateswara with a height of 57 feet is situated on the summit of Indragiri hill. It is one of the two giant sculptures in the world, after the Collosus Ramses II in Egypt.

Arrive Banglore and check in at hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 10   DEPARTURE – BANGALORE OR DEPARTURE FROM CHENNAI

In time transfer to airport to board the flight for onward destination.
